She Reads Truth v2 - Sprint 4: Reading plan management

In addition to simple Bible reading, users have the ability to engage with reading plans in the She Reads Truth app. This provides the user with some direction on what to read as well as some supplemental content to increase their understanding and application of Scripture.

This section of the app is broken up into 2 sections: My Plans and Available Plans.

We believe the experience should be pleasurable and engaging when exploring new plans. This experience breaks from the utilitarian function of other areas of the app and gives priority to form over pure function. However, function was considered as it related to the ability to view multiple plans within the same screen and clarity of each plan and it's length.

This is the first introduction of imagery to the app. The She Reads Truth brand puts high value on aesthetic. So, while utility and readability are important, this is where the app begins to shine and engage the user.

Once the user has made their purchase, we make the shift back to a more functional approach with a list view. The priority in the 'My Plans' section is placed on quick navigation.
