Inside Out – A Sermon Series Logo
This is an identity concept for a sermon series through the book of Ezra. The book details the return of the Israelites in order to rebuild Jerusalem, but while the people believe the construction of the walls is the most important, God reveals that he wants them to rebuild their hearts more and place their focus vertically on Him rather than horizontally on earthly things. So they were to literally build from the inside out.
In the logo, the idea of building is captured by the faux blueprint lines. The idea of building vertically is represented by an arrow formed in the negative space of the words. The arrow is emanating out of a heart formed by intersecting lines to convey the idea of where the building project begins.
