Rentomojo : Hiring Lead Product Designer
We are looking for a Lead Product Designer who isn’t limited by anything technical and puts the user first, above all else.
As a Lead Product Designer at RentoMojo, you will create work that makes subscription commerce a household name. We are at the brink of a fin-tech revolution and we expect our Design Director to use every ounce of their conceptual, design, and leadership skills to develop ROI driven, habit forming ideas that have a large influence on people’s lives, as well as helping to ensure that they’re executed at a world-class level.
Responsibilities
⚡️ Will be responsible for strategizing the complete design process from user research, flows, wireframes, conceptualisation.. to final graphics and design testing.
⚡️ Create the vision for developing, communicating, and implementing the user experience and associated UI framework and assets on a range of products; follow through with the processes and tactics to implement the vision
⚡️ Ensure close coordination with the product management team to develop a shared vision of a
product and then lead a process to define the experience and design to deliver on the product’s objectives
⚡️ Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business goals into unique product experience
⚡️ Inspire and mentor others in the Design team
Required:
⚡️ 4+ years professional experience in Product Design
⚡️ Degree in design or a related field strongly preferred.
⚡️ Portfolio / experience demonstrating strong design thinking and user experience skill set including strategy, information architecture, and design aesthetics
⚡️ Solid experience guiding or managing user research and usability testing
⚡️ Harness the power of typography, proportion, color, form and movement to create aesthetically pleasing, easy to use interfaces
⚡️ Proven ability to work cross-team, lead the design process and synthesise feedback and input from product management, engineering, and marketing
⚡️ Capacity for creating fun, highly usable designs and layouts, and a propensity towards simplification
⚡️ Obsession with foreseeing and advocating customer needs
⚡️ Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business needs, and customer expectations
⚡️ Commitment to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge.
⚡️ Ability to quickly turn around detailed wireframes, mockups, or visual comps in an iterative environment.
⚡️ Ability to work directly with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
⚡️ Technical knowledge of Design Applications including Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Invision Prototyping, etc.
⚡️ Familiarity working in an Agile framework development environment.
