Facebook Messenger Improvement Ideas

I've been struggling to create a real portfolio for almost 5 years of being a designer. It's difficult to redesign an entire app or create on from scratch. So I decided to start designing 'small things'.

I think it is a great exercise for me to think creatively and use an existing app like Facebook messenger to start with. I could have chosen a different app, but I love the app and my friends love it too! So I gave it a try! :D
