New Signature Standard
I made a slight change in how we create divisional signatures for those offices around campus that need an extra bit of sub-branding.
Previously, we had a strict rule that the words must fall within the width of the logo. This has caused problems like you see above, where some signatures feel off balance due to long words or awkward orphans (or, in this case, both).
Now, as seen below, we can use our human judgement on when it’s appropriate for an office title to fall outside of the width of the logo. I think some of our clients will really appreciate this added flexibility.
