Football 2D - 3D Ae and Ps

I've been working in Ae and Ps for the past week and was able to add some motion and 3D to this 2D mockup. I'm also trying to add in some particle type elements to slowly revolve around the player but i've been having a hard time doing that. Need some help there, any tips?
