What started as a quick doodle of my sleepy dog turned into an experiment with after effects.

Here's how it happened...I drew a quick doodle of my dog while he was sleeping and looking super cute. Took a picture of it, traced it with the paint brush tool in Illustrator. Used a font called "Noteworthy" to type out the phrase "let sleeping dogs lie". Applied an envelope distort to create a retro/hand-written feel and shape the text to fit the space nicely. Took it into photoshop to add the watercolor and texture styling. Finally brought that into After Effects to add the animation... Was a fun little experiment! Gotta let those sleeping dogs lie! Zzz 🐶
