KOFA Logo Concept 1

Here is one of the concepts I designed for a company called KOFA. The company name is derived from the word, Sankofa, which means, "it is not wrong to go back for that which you have forgotten". The word is symbolized by two things a bird and a heart.

The mark is an abstract image of a bird taking flight and an asymmetrical heart. The bird and heart represent taking good things from the past and bringing it into the present in order to make positive progress through the benevolent use of knowledge.
