NOS - Category Icon Set

We’ve created a custom, hand-crafted icon set of 21 icons for the NOS (Dutch Broadcast Foundation). We’re super excited that millions of people will enjoy these icons in the new NOS mobile apps that will soon be refreshed. The icons help to give extra clarity to categories and subjects. Attached is a small selection of our favourites of the set.

We kicked off our process as usual with a style definition and continued with sketching ideas for the required icons. Together with the NOS we choose the best metaphors and created the gorgeous set with exports as PDF and SVG for maximum flexibility and dev-friendly assets. See attached for a few of our sketches.
