Illustration for Dark & Stormy Night 2016

Big Class is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating and supporting the voices of New Orleans' writers ages 6-18 through creative collaborations with schools and communities.

Big Class is participating in the 826 National Chapter Development Process, with plans to open The Haunting Supply Co.—a store for ghosts—in New Orleans. A Dark and Stormy Night 2016 marked the second fundraising event for The Haunting Supply Co., with products for ghosts, spooky cocktails, and ghost stories for auction by nationally and locally famous writers.

I created the invitations and posters for the event, featuring this custom illustration inspired by spooky old story books.
