Work with me!

Well this is a double whammy post! I am available for hire and I have a new brand!

First of all, I am on the look out for work; I’ve had a project delayed so I’m looking to work with start up and small organisations on branding or website projects. I’m a dab hand at front-end or Drupal too! Feel free to get in touch if you think we’d be a good fit!

Secondly, I have been rebranding for what seems like an eternity; a friend designed this logo for me around 3, maybe 4 years ago and I even started a blog (http://selfbrandingwoes.com) to document the process during my last attempt in 2015. Unfortunately, everything halted when work got busy and life happened (I’ve recently relocated to Manchester.)

Over the last few weeks, I’ve started to relook at the work I did in 2015 and surprisingly I still like the majority of it but there’s still a lot of work to do before I reach the goal of an all dancing, all singing website. Instead, I’m going to treat the project like a MVP and this is the first step. This is a little animation to announce my new brand and the tone of voice I’m going for. I have been using this logo over the last few months especially on Instagram but never in the context with my new branding. So here it is!

I do intend to kickstart the blog again and I have a Trello board breaking down the whole rebranding process into tiny pieces (like designing Twitter graphics, update my avatars, updating bios etc) so wish me luck! Hopefully, it won’t take me another 18 months to make some more progress.

If anyone is interested, I made the animation in Photoshop so it’s nothing special or complicated but it’s the first animation I’ve made in a long, long time outside of Flash!
