s gone wrong

(WIP) First try at some typography for a small wordmark. New to the type world, quickly learning that the "s" is the toughtest of all letters. This is my try for a quick and easy lowercase s. As you can see, I didn't quite get it right. The italic semi-homemade font was hard to match, as the curves of the "s" became distorted when I skewed.
