Room Filling Sound

Recent graphic created to illustrate 'room-filling sound' for the family of client connected products.

I created and sketched the floor plan, art directed the 3D render, then worked with our dev team to recreate and refine the animations in CSS. We defined specific rectangular masks to keep sound within individual rooms, though some of the masks overlapped, so we overlaid a transparent PNG of just walls walls to cover all overlaps.

Side story:

Was fun to create the custom floor plan using my old architecture knowledge. Before I pivoted to graphic design, I was completely sure I'd be an architect, but during a job shadow I was shown the MASSIVE book of building codes, and knew I needed something that allowed greater creative freedom. I suppose the creativity of graphic design, mixed with the structure of UI & UX, is exactly how I found myself in interactive.
