GitLab Merge Request Redesign

The GitLab merge request widget, shown in the merge request view, is ready for an upgrade. Currently we are looking at ways to improve it in such a way that it can handle both present challenges better and is ready for future functionality.

This is a sneak-peak at the design direction we are currently looking in to.
