🚆Sydney Trains Info – Visual Platforms

Quick concept for a more visual train information app.

• Platform congestion indicators to encourage people spread out along a platform, away from pinch-points like escalators, stairs and elevators. Platform congestion has been identified as causing train delays as passengers cannot quickly board or alight. Sydney's metro station may deploy these platform sensors, so this realistically couldn't be done today. Technologies like BLE and iBeacon make this kind of thing possible.
• Typical door entry points based on most carriage designs.
• Clear entry and exit indication.
• Swipe across platforms at current station.
• Pinch out to view wider network or station (might explore this).

Anyway, haven't put much thought into this, just a quick post :)
