Add Event to Calendar - Interaction Design

I'm starting a new series of shots that will be called "Break the Experience". This series is going to revolve around rethinking common interaction patterns that are widely used, and suggesting ways of improving them.

I have always hated adding events to my calendar on mobile. I have found the experience completely unintuitive and no matter how many apps I have tried, I've always fallen back to using my laptop for all event handling. There is something about going through a boring form of many fields that makes it look way more complex than what it is.

This interaction pattern focuses on breaking down the absolute essentials for adding an event to your calendar. There might be cases where adding an event name first might make more sense, but I'm still doing a bit of research to see what would the most natural flow be.
