Do you swipe or tap?

I'm making a recommendation app with a friend. We realized there are two types of people in this world: "swipers" (younger crowd) and "tappers" (older crowd). We wanted to cater the interaction of the app to ALL users– so you can swipe from page to page for fast navigation OR you can tap the toggle at the top of the screen for those who prefer visual buttons.
