Daily UI #009 – Music Player

Well, I may have skipped a day or two, but I'm back with day 9 – a "music player." This one is clearly influenced (heavily) by Spotify and Sonos. In fact, it's a kind of combination of the two apps.

Featuring the album art (and discography details) of a friend of a friend: Caleb Groh. Check out his music. He made my most played in 2016 playlist from Spotify.

The interaction (perhaps I'll rebound with an animation) is intended to support clicking on the "currently playing" tray to go from screen 1 to 2, *or* pulling the tray up. Similarly, to go back to the track list you can pull the "currently playing" view down to collapse it into the tray (going from screen 2 to 1). The Sonos app on Android does this really beautifully. I wish Spotify would implement it, too.
