Some people say you can throw all the men of the world into a big bucket, reach in, and pull out a random one, so much the same the male sex is. These folks must be speaking strictly from a behavioral standpoint because we see almost limitless variation in the male countenance.

Still, creating an inventory of illustrated male faces requires one to work in archetypes. Hopefully we’ve captured some of the biggies: bald guy with the gnarly beard, youthful jogger guy, helps-old-ladies-across-the-street guy. While we were at it we threw in what I like to call the talented poet, the dreamer, and the doer.

The only bucket these guys are going to be thrown into is one marked “awesomeness.”
