Set Up Flow Prototype

The previous onboarding had 5-6 steps that began with questions: How does the small business owner run their business, all the way to having them connect their bank account in the later steps.

The data showed that users did not want to connect their accounts without seeing the product.

So with that data, we did a quick turn around and came up with this flow - Two steps, friendly interactions, illustrative, and a localised city illustration depending on which country was going through the flow.

In February, the motion team and I will be presenting QuickBooks motion principles, teach the basics of animation in Principle, and the "how to" work with your dev in implementing those animations/designs.

Since I was the visual designer on Setup, I prototyped this section in Principle to teach this in the motion workshop.

As for the actual experience, you can see it in QuickBooks Online today.
