Number 4 of 6 in a poster series about the water hidden in everyday consumption.
It can take more than 6.6 gallons of fresh water to produce one gallon of gasoline, and as much as 324 gallons of water to produce one gallon of ethanol.¹ The average vehicle, running 26mpg on E85 can use more than 2 gallons of freshwater every mile.
The assignment was to respond to "water" with a series of posters.
