Memory as a Mission (Kujtesa si Mision)

"Kujtesa si Mision", in albanian means "Memory as a Mission".
I developed this design concept during my work with the Institute for Democracy, Media and Culture (IDMC), for the visual identity of their conference "Memory Days".

In many countries of the former communist block, there is often a lack of proper investigation on the crimes of authoritarian regimes. This sometimes leads to historic darkness or deformation.

There are, however, attempts of several organisations and people, to rip this virtual curtain between archives and written history, with the intention of shedding some light on the facts.

I aligned the concept with the gesture of opening the blinds, or putting fingers between folders.
