CCSIO Bench

Cold-cache sequential IO benchmarking tool.

It's good to have a fast disk, but it's better to have a fast stack. So this little side project tests just that.

Unlike other file benchmarking tools that typically require manually specifying an IO buffer size, count and other things, CCSIO Bench automatically goes through a long list of possible IO strategies and determines the fastest one, so what you get is a fastest achievable bulk read/write speed for a specific disk volume on your specific machine.
