This game was a steady grind with the Panthers bookending the first period and last shootout with goals. This low scoring game didn't come from a lack of shots, the Jackets put 33 on net, but Panther's goaltender Luongo was an iron gate. Only one puck slipped past him the whole evening, and it was an impressive backhand belonging to a Saad in the third. After equalizing the Jackets pushed into OT and finally a shootout. This was the Jackets' first shootout of the season - the Panthers' third. Unfortunately, after Bob held off 2 Panther shots, Aleksander Barkov sealed the deal.
