In the last week, I've observed people react to the results of the election in various ways. I've walked around the streets of San Francisco and felt like the city was mourning a death. I've talked to close family friends who were genuinely happy by the results. I've watched people sync into deep depressions. I've listened to people try to be optimistic. I've seen people's hate. I've seen people in fear.
