With home ice under our skates, it was time for redemption. And after the opener being less than anticipated I think we were all hoping for a surplus of cannon fire.

Here were the game highlights:
-Werenski got his first goal of his three-day-old NHL career
-Ryan Murray, injured while blocking a shot in the season-opening loss to the Bruins, missed his first game after playing 85 consecutive game
-Bobrovsky had 35 saves
-Sharks swam away with a win 3-2
