Nike+ Run Club - Routes Concept

I’ve been using the Nike Running iOS app since 2014 and I always missed a way to discover and suggest running routes inside of it.

When you run outside of your neighbourhood, chances are that you’ll end up discovering really good routes you’ll never find again or having terrible experiences like running in the traffic and/or being chased by the dogs 🚗🏃🐩.
Wouldn’t be cool if you could just open the app and find a trusted route to run when you’re far from home?

Here’s my take on a possible Routes feature inside of the (almost) brand new Nike+ Run Club.

The Routes feature as I imagine it would have an impact on basically all the other sections of the app as well, but for now I chose to render the manual drawing UX only (also because I couldn't fit 1 byte more in this massive GIF 😁).

Since the guys at Nike have just renewed the entire look and feel of the app, I’ve tried to stick with it and be a good citizen there 😜.
