Flight status options

While working on the self care section for the lastminute.com native apps, I have been looking at different ways to communicate flight updates to users. These cards are 'flight legs' - and they include a section which tells the user what their flights current status is... Do I remain playful, and use emojis like all the other cool-kid apps? Or is it a bit naff and overdone now? Does it seem unprofessional? I personally like it, but not sure my users will like it. Would be keen to hear what people think about it!
