Quit Smoking (Unused logo concept)

Unused logo concept I worked on earlier this year for CEASE California, a non-profit program reducing the burden of secondhand smoke on children by training pediatric providers to help parents quit smoking.

High level thinking and symbolism: an ash tray, broken end of cigarette, 3 step program, connection between parent/child/doctor, maybe the end of a stethoscope (the tool a pediatrician will primarily use to monitor a child’s breathing difficulties from secondhand smoke)...? Something like that.
