Usability Improvement Plan

Coming in hot as officially the least sexy dribbble post ever, this screenshot highlights a plan our design team put in place a couple of quarters ago to improve a collection of usability pain points our application had accrued as a side effect of rapid technical feature development.

We sourced internal and customer feedback on common usability issues to create thematic problem statements. We then created hypotheses and prototypes to compare the current interactions against proposed solutions.

After statistically significant qualitative responses we would mark our proposed solutions as TRUE, FALSE, MAYBE. This process allowed us to move our interface confidently towards getting out of the way of what our users are trying to achieve.
