Nikon F 1959

Nikon's first SLR camera. Although many of its features had already been introduced elsewhere, it was revolutionary because it was the first to combine them all in one camera. It was succeeded by the Nikon F2 in 1972, but its legacy is undeniable as today's Nikon DSLRs still use the same F lens mount introduced in 1959.
