It seems like the story of the season has been a highly productive Sox offense undermined by a troubled starting pitching staff. Despite his team putting eight runs on the board — including two home runs — Steven Wright had an uncharacteristically rough outing, allowing eight of Detroit’s nine runs in his team’s second straight loss to the Tigers.
