The key to the afterlife!

Legend has it that Egyptian pharaohs were buried with a jar of Hummus. More important than the gold and riches inside their tomb, the quality of the Hummus was their ticket to the afterlife.

Each pharaoh would devote their life to crafting the quality of their burial dish in hopes of passing on to the next world. When the tomb raiders broke into the Pyramids it was not the jewels and diamonds they were after but the sacred hummus and the eternity it promised.

Faraoh is a collection of those divine recipes.

Big thanks to crew member Greg Titus for his spot on and super quick work on this illustration for me. It supported this outlandish backstory for my entry into hummus competition at @Pilot perfectly.
