III: The Empress

Meet The Empress, III in the major arcana series of the Tall Grass tarot deck that I'm creating (check out the project on Dribbble to see more shots).

The Empress is the keeper of the flame that often gets extinguished so easily and early in life. She holds a place for youthful enthusiasm and idealism and is the defender of all that is powerful yet defenseless. She herself is ceaselessly energetic and vital.

She is also a magnet. Seductive and in charge of her sexuality, fruit and seedpods hang heavy in the tree when she is in her power. Creative projects easily come to fruition and conception is assured.
