Sling Lounge Chair

Not a typical post for Dribbble, but I sketched the early designs and measured everything out in Illustrator, so that should count for something. Also, pretty much everything I do these days is under NDA but I want to stay active on here.

Anyway, I've been working on this thing for the past several months and just finished it up so I thought I'd share. I made the frame out of birch wood, and hand-planed the legs to achieve the taper. The leather was cut from a full hide of vegetable-tanned leather, then dyed and hand-stitched onto the frame. After that, everything got several coats of oil to bring out the natural grain.
