This is the first of a collection of stamps based on a wide range of topics – pop culture, literature, nature, science, sport, design, architecture etc. The idea is to chose subject matter from a country and present it, or a part of it in an abstract and reduced manner. Essentially, a simple graphic or piece of typesetting that conveys the feel and the essence of the subject. The aim is to create a balance between representation and abstraction. The stamp sheets are displayed in plastic packaging with label detailing subject, size and print specifications.
