Mental Illness Awareness Icons

The purpose of this project is to reduce the stigma associated with having a mental, mood, or personality disorder. This project began with designing icons that best represent the characteristics of Major Depressive Disorder (Depression), Bipolar I Disorder, Schizophrenia: Paranoid Type, and Schizoid Personality Disorder. The icons offer a visual configuration instead of just a long name with negative connotations.

I would like this project to grow by creating icons for even more disorders and illnesses that affect a majority of our population to spread further awareness.
