Dancing lines
The experimentation continues. Animation cooked up in Cheetah 3D 7 beta. Lots of processing and colourisation in Photoshop.
The movement is probably a lot simpler than it looks — it’s just a sphere being rotated on two axis inside a larger hidden object to control the origin. The attached GIF hopefully makes it obvious how that was done.
A wide angle lens is used to give it a bit of drama.
