Segment is a tool that allows engineers to collect customer data with one API and send it to hundreds of tools for analytics, marketing, and data warehousing. Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to complete a design excercise with the Segment team, exploring ideas for an internal tool for updating Segment team member profiles.
