Frozen Frenzy Board Game Mock Up

I was recently in consideration for a position with a company that produces children's games and puzzles. After the first few rounds of interviews I was tasked with creating a mock up for a fictional game and given few details and directions.

Basically, I was given the name of the game, the copy that had to be on the box and the direction to create "polar" characters with my artwork loosely reflecting the game play, which was not described.

I created this piece over a two day period and ended up getting offered the position. Unfortunately I was not able to accept due to negotiation issues but I had a blast working on the piece and wanted to share what I came up with. I swapped out my logo with the company's to avoid any confusion, but everything else is the same.

The piece was created in Illustrator and was a lot of fun. Really hate things didn't work out as it seems like it would have been a dream position.
