The one common thread in 95% of the work I do is that I work with others — Rarely do I do a project in isolation. We've been fans of the band Midlake for years, and when they are not doing music Eric Pulido (Midlake's lead singer) & Ranger Ewing run a fantastic screen printing shop in Denton, Tx named Norman Roscoe. We partnered with them to print our posters and our super soft, super comfortable Bella + Canvas t-shirts. Highly recommend Norman Roscoe, and highly recommend Bella + Canvas. THE best!
BTS on the design: Neil and I tried a good half-dozen or so ideas before landing on the final design. As a band, we sync all of our files (music, photo, video, and design) via Dropbox, and after seeing I had uploaded this design, Neil dug in to rough up the edges by hand. Once the design was nailed out, we realized it would make a great poster as well. More on that later.
