Zen Themes

I started Zen Themes 3 years ago, when I knew nothing about web design and had zero coding experience. I learned how to code and design bits by bits through trials and errors. Making themes has drawn me into the world of design, and has helped me open up so many windows of opportunities.

With this brand new website, I wanted to set Zen Themes on a new direction. I think that web design has the same capacity as films, fashion, graphic design to incorporate meanings into the art form, and it has not been explored by many. To me, making themes is not only about having great aesthetics or cool visual effects, but being able to incorporate meanings or storytelling into the design; it adds a whole new layer of elements that widens the creative freedom, and makes the design more interesting. Zen Themes is dedicated to infusing creativity to its themes, allowing bloggers to expand beyond the themes and personalize their sites by letting their own thoughts and creations shine through.
