So It Goes Tee - On Cotton Bureau

One of my favorite things about Cotton Bureau is how easy it is give all-new purpose to old or unused designs. As freelancers especially, situations always arise when something of ours goes unused or gets rejected, but they’re perfectly good and should live on somewhere. CB uses one of the best print shops in the world (Clockwise) to put our amazing work out to the world in the form of beautiful, high-quality t-shirts at literally zero risk to us.

I drew this sketch just over a year ago, and now it’s finally coming to life as a shirt! Available in Storm Purple, Vintage Black, and Premium Heather Gray, the halftoned shading allows the color of the tee to become the shadow on this chunky, high-contrast script of this quote from my favorite Kurt Vonnegut book Slaughterhouse Five. “So it goes” is a recurring, thematic line used in any and every instance of any kind of death throughout the story. And as the saying goes, no art is possible without a dance with death.

Find this shirt, available for pre-order until April 11th, at https://cottonbureau.com/products/so-it-goes. Oh, and while you’re there, don’t forget to hit the “Submit a Design” link in the upper left, and make some good, passive income off your work!
