Magnet Logo + Icon
This is the final assembly for Magnet logo and its icon. For the logo we looked for several inspirations, from luxury chocolate packaging to interior of sport cars. "Magnet" part is a mix of 3 different fonts combined.
Magnet icon is a mix of check-in (the core of the app), as well a heart symbol and Yin-Yang. The circle around represent the venue or the event you are meeting a potential partner, while the lines are a resemblance for Cupid's arrow breaching the heart.
The background is a dark, blurred map, representing the urban discovery, the uncertainty of the nightlife that would set the scene for an adventurous and serendipitous encounter.
We wanted something classy, sexy, and timeless.
The 15° angle also inspired the whole GUI of the app (more screenshots coming soon!).
