SaudiSale: Create & Add New Listing

Hello guys! 👋

Here’s a look at the Add New Listing experience I designed for a mobile marketplace app that allows users in Saudi Arabia to buy and sell new and used cars.

Rather than going with the traditional, forms-heavy approach/ inputs fileds, I wanted to make the process more human, more intuitive, and less overwhelming. That’s why the first step in the listing journey is structured as a chat conversation between the app and the user (the seller), a technique rooted in Conversational UX Writing and Empathetic Technique Design.

This isn’t just a chatbot. It’s a friendly, colloquial interaction (in Saudi dialect) that guides the user through adding their listing in a natural, human-like way, helping users feel less like they’re filling a form and more like they’re chatting with a real person. Also to reinforce a sense of progress and reduce user anxiety, a clear visual indicator shows how far along the user is in the process. This small detail plays a big role in delivering a smooth, reassuring experience, reminding users that they’re making steady progress with each step.
