🎉 SubBuddy - Manage All Your Subscriptions in One Place!

🎯 Objective

SubBuddy aims to help users track and manage multiple digital subscriptions in one place, promoting smarter and more efficient financial decisions.

❗️Problem Statement

In the era of Netflix, Spotify, and other services, users often lose track of subscription expenses. Existing tools lack integration, automation, user-friendly design, and personalized insights—leading to unnecessary spending and financial mismanagement.

🧠 Design Approach

We adopted the Design Science Research (DSR) methodology and a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach to create a high-fidelity prototype. The app features include:

• Centralized subscription tracking

• AI-powered insights and reminders

• Expense visualizations and smart bundling offers

🛠 Tools Used

• Figma: Interface design & prototyping

• System Usability Scale (SUS): Usability evaluation

• User Feedback Forms: Quantitative & qualitative insights

🏆 Outcome

The prototype scored 76.08 on the SUS—classified as “Good.” Most users praised its simplicity, aesthetics, and clarity.

Top features: MySub, Promo Bundles, Reminder Notifications.

Valuable feedback led to enhancements:

• Integration with payment apps (OVO, GoPay)

• Monthly expense visualizations

• Dark mode

• Redundancy reduction

• Review system for more trusted purchases
