Camera Rental App UI
Project Type: UI/UX Concept
Platform: Mobile
Screen(s): Home, Browse Rentals, Product Detail
Tool: Figma
Year: 2025
Problem
Many freelance photographers, filmmakers, and content creators can’t always afford high-end gear or only need it for short periods. Existing rental platforms often feel outdated, hard to navigate, or don’t inspire trust—especially when it comes to handling expensive equipment.
Solution
i designed a clean, modern camera rental app that helps users easily browse, book, and manage camera equipment rentals.
The experience had to be:
Trustworthy (because users are renting valuable items)
Easy to navigate (with clear CTAs and search)
Visually appealing (to attract creatives and professionals)
Core Features:
Home Screen with recommended gear and categories.
Filter&Search System for finding the right camera/lens by brand, type, or user rating.
Product Detail Page showing rental rates, users rating, and gear specs
CTA Buttons: Rent Now, Apply, View details & Confirm & Pay.
Visual Design & Color Usage:
Primary Color: Orange → energetic and attention grabbing, perfect for a creative audience.
Accent Colors: Black & Light Gray → Black used for test and contrast-heavy section, Light gray used for background and dividers and white used for cards.
Typography: Red Hat Display font: strong character and readability, modern yet friendly.
Spacing: Generous padding and margins to allow gear images to breathe
Imagery: Large, high-quality camera/lens photos used prominently for appeal
UI Elements: Rounded cards, minimalist layout, and iconography for intuitive actions
Design Goals:
Build trust visually with clean, professional layout and intuitive navigation
Use color and contrast to guide user actions (orange buttons on neutral backgrounds)
Balance content and function so that users can browse and rent effortlessly
Create a bold, brandable look fit for a creative professional audience
What I Practiced:
Designing clean, trust-based UIs for marketplaces
Using color psychology (orange = action + energy; black = authority)
Responsive design thinking for gear browsing and rental workflows
Creating a unified, scalable visual system using a strong typeface and minimal accents
