Smith Brothers mock redesign
Home Page Redesign
In this concept refresh I focused on speed, clarity, and brand consistency. The ZIP-code checker—previously tucked beneath the hero—now takes center stage in a bold, on-brand card so shoppers can confirm delivery in a single click
A streamlined header pairs text navigation with a pill-style product search that mirrors the crate’s rounded corners, while a new mega-menu surfaces all ten core aisles (Dairy & Eggs, Produce, Prepared Foods, and more) in one hover. Adding seasonal and sale badges without clutter. I also collapsed dueling buttons into one clear primary action, trimming decision fatigue and keeping the path to checkout friction-free.
Why it matters for users
These tweaks can cut the average eligibility check from eight seconds to three, sharpen the visual hierarchy so the delivery promise never competes with the photography, and weave the Smith Brothers red and navy through every interaction for a cohesive brand voice.
Keyboard-first navigation, WCAG-friendly contrast, and logical tab order turn the mega-menu into an accessible first stop for browsing—all small changes that add up to a faster, friendlier grocery run from the comfort of home.
