Size x New Balance 580

I was commissioned by Size? to create a pixel art animation for a New Balance 580 drop. The colourway of the sneakers was inspired by the original Gameboy and the purple clear case of the Gameboy Colour.

They also created a promo video shot in Philadelphia, so I used the Philadelphia skyline as a reference.

Everything in this video was created by me, including the storyboard, assets and animation.

It took me a week and a half to complete. Originally planned to be a 30 second video game homage, I had to reduce it to the final cut for social media.
