Love ya Mom

This is something I did for my Mom for Mother's Day, create art to let her know I'm always thankful. I'm planning to make coffee cups and other simple things.

Many times I don't share my process, but this one was really fun and challenging. With every project, a quick sketch is the start, then it is refined until it looks the part. Below is the second sketch and then many other letter form studies to get the final product. Anytime you do work, just remember to start somewhere, even if it's just a goofy sketch.
